I will be relocating from Singaopore to Sunnyvale,CA in Oct 04 and have set my mind on the Acura TSX since it is withing my budget range.

Anyone from Sunnyvale or Mounatin view in this forum who could recommend good dealers. It would be useful if I can get some price quote from anyone who got the 04' model recently if available.

Lastly, what other tax must I pay other than 8.5% CA tax when I get a new car ?

Check Stevens Creek Acura in santa clara. They offered me the best price out of all the dealer i've went to.

i bought mine last week at marin acura. they located my car from LA and i payed under msrp still plus trunk tray etc ...

the taxs on my car was $2,022.13

Well, I got mine from Sunnyvale Acura. They gave me a good price below MSRP, and the salesperson was really great. What really helped was that I had him check the price for the TSX online (carsdirect.com) - right in front of me. And from there, we negotiated for a price below that - which was less than I expected to pay. Well, this all came about after i checked Marin Acura and Stevens Creek Acura (which is just 10mins away). So you will still have to shop around. But Sunnyvale Acura gave me a decent price.

I like your idea, I do not mind the 05' model if I can get a good bargain. Are you going for the one with nav ?

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome and great tips. I will start with kunoh advise checking with carsdirect.com but I would love to get one with navigator.

Is there like a small Acura TSX club in Silicon valley ?
