I picked up this headlight on ebay for cheap, and to my suprise the thing looks brand new! So any ideas on what i should do to it?
I know alot of the 3rd gen tl guys black out their lights.maybe that'll look good?

Why did you get it, did your original one break or was it just a good deal?

Eh, for $20 I would have picked it up too. Shame you couldn't get both at that price.

You can get clear casing for the orange parts, it looks good and many people do that. You can try out some stuff with LEDs if you're into that. I would personally keep it for a backup and just mod the headlights I was already using. I'm going to get some halos in a bit here. Just make sure you know the risks and precautions of messing with headlight housing units if you're gonna open them up or something.

I have a 2008 TSX, does anyone knows the main difference in the older years? I am thinking about buying some spare headlights to cut open too.

I think the 2007 is the same as the 2008

and the other years are 2004-06 to be the same design.

please correct me If I am wrong.

Headlights are the same for 04-05, then 06-08 are different

here are the headlight mods i know that have been done:
Black out chrome housing
Color Mod (Gives HIDs more color)
Clear Out turn signal (Pain in the butt, will have to re-aim HIDs)
Clear Out Side markers (doesnt look too good, but if painted black, looks okay.)
Tinted Side Markers (looks better then cleared out and easier)
angel eyes (Have to drill outside your headlight, glue gets messy)
Strip LEDs (Like the new audis)

I think you should just paint the housing black, use really light coats(like 20 per a layer) and be patient. Maybe color mod if you have alot of patience.

as for clear side markers, no any make clear side markers by them selves . you'll have to buy the headlight as a whole either 04-05 JDM, 06-08 JDM or Ebay.
