don't you think since we bought a 2004 model car that we should have the most up to date version available. I think acura should send all the 2004 TSX owners the newest version, once it's available. any thoughts on this subject?
Quite a few threads on this already. While 09/30/02 is a bit out of date for a car shipping in april'03, the TL's seem to have a June or July'03 DVD date. (ie: at least several months stale)
Although I do agree that we should at least get the first year for free or at a highly discounted rate. From what I've seen the majority of the roads in my area are mapped, but a number of POI's are FAR out of date. (hospitals that have closed 10 years ago are listed, hospitals that have been here for decades aren't, malls that have moved 10-15 years ago are still listed in their old area, etc...)
What I'd rather have is the data stored on a laptop HDD where you could take it out and sync it up with navtech on a regular basis. I wouldn't even mind paying a nominal subscription fee for something like that. Say $5 per month.
