animals and interior..

I am obviously lookin at getting a tsx soon. But i have one question considering ive never owned a car with "leather". "pleather". We have a small dog, a pomeranian. I am curious is you folks take your animals along and does the leather get messed up from their nails?

thanks.

well i take my bichon around with no problem he ususaly sits on someones lap or just sits there on the back seat. we have a lab also, i sorta hesitate to take her cuz shes so big and leaves alota shedded fur. i ususaly put down a sheet on the back seat and make sure its tucked in behind the seat somewhat. havent really had a problem as long as the sheets on there. the bichons nails i dont think would do much plus i drive ALOT slower and alot more careful with them back there.

No holding my dog back, he likes to look out the window, so he puts his back legs on my lap, and rests his front on the door panel to look out. Sometimes he will climb up on me, and lay on my shoulders.

BTW: he is only 6 Llbs..

I have pom too. Someone has to hold him. He's so small yet he wants to jump up at stare outside so usually my girlfriend holds him or I put him in a crate. I have put him on the seats before but there's no scratch marks. Maybe because I trim his nails? I have black leather also.

there is no holding my dog, he is too squirmy.. and no possibility he will go in a crate,, Momma wont allow that. It is too much of a treat for him to stick his lil head out the window.

I'd fold the back seats down then place a blanket over the seats.

For those of you with your dogs on your laps. Both you and the dog are fucked if you get into an accident and the airbag goes off.

I have my min pin trained to stay down in the passenger foot area. But when he has been on the leather, no scratch's or damage that I've noticed.

There are plenty of pet covers for cars. I got one at Brookstone.

Ok, so you guy's got me to thinking.. Dogs no longer riding up front with us. If he wants to go he has to ride in back seat with his harness on, and a leash hooked to a hook in the back seat. (Dont have a tsx yet). 94 toy Paseo...

Amen to that, even though she passes gas due to her being frightened....
