For all of those comparing the TSX to other brands...quit!

I just read an article that gave the Japenese Accord (TSX) Japenese Car of the Year by 59 Auto Critics. It beat out the 350Z in Japan. For all of you that own a TSX, quit comparing. You own the best car money can buy at that price range. Most of my friends with Bimmer's want to drive my car when they come over. You can also spend about 5k through comptech and get your flywheel HP up to about 210-it is currently 179. Similar weighted cars with 210 to the fly do 60 in about 6 flat and a 1/4 mile right at 100mph...something to think about.

that means absolutely nothing...the G35 won car of the year last year..does that mean its the best car that came out last year? not even close. your logic on speed is idiotic at best... the SRT will blow your imaginary comptech car out of the water STOCK, does that make it a better car? while it is somewhat useless to compare cars in different classes that is done with TSX vs XXXX , your logic for it is dumb

gilboman, is it really necessary to be so insulting? OK, you don't agree with the above poster. That is no reason to call his ideas "dumb" and "idotic"

mbucek. I appreciate your enthusiams but basically agree with giboman (not with his tone, with the content of his message). Lots of crappy cars have one COY over time, in Europe, Japan, and the states. It doesn't mean anything about the TSX (except that the media in Japan have good taste in cars!).

Wait til someone starts a thread with the subject "Top 10 reasons why TSX owns BMW 330xi".

(For those that don't know, Gilbo has the latter car.)

Now I understand a few things about Gilboman and his arrogance. It is truely sad.

I don't think Gilbo liked this part in particular.

gilbo...you and the original post have a lot in common. You've both taken the pendulum to the extreme. I agree that it's a bit excessive to suggest that the TSX is the best car, based on a few Japanese auto critics. But it's also excessive to suggest that the high praise means nothing. The G35 winning Car of The Year brought new life into a failing Infinti brand. Is the G35 THE BEST car for everyone, no. But I'm sure any auto manafacturer, including BMW, would give an assembly line to be able to say that about one of their cars.

Putting it in quotes doesn't keep it from being offensive, Adam. Kidding is kidding but that's, um, a low blow.

Your "don't take me seriously" thing not withstanding, have some class.
