With some exceptions, two pedals are OK.

For example, in the case of my totally cool manually powered (aka foot powered) Woody Dude Wagon pedal car that I had when I was 4 years old, two pedals was all there was. The front end looked like a cross between a Ford and Plymouth, but it had no fins. Couldn't get more manual that that!

Of course bikes are acceptable with only two pedals.

Ahhh, now here's a prime example of a lameness: an automatic shifting bicycle. Geeeeeeeeeeeze!

With all of the enthusiasm among forum members for 6MT, particularly in this message, I wonder how many who were on the fence about whether to buy 5AT or 6MT have now decided to go for 6MT...

6 MT here! Smoothest, most precise gearbox I've ever driven. Heard Miata's are also good, which begs to question who has the best gearbox out there? IMO Honda's 6 speed has got to be in the top 10.

No problems encountered yet (14,000km), even at -23 degrees celsius which it hit last night coming home. Even parked in this cold it didn't seem notchy at start-up and compared to my 00' Accord Coupe is a major improvement. The only problem is the metal shifter which gets very cold. I shift using the leather strip with hy forefinger/thumb! Course had the same problem in the summer when it was + 38.

One last thing. I wear a ring on my right hand and have noticed that I've scratched the silver finish off on parts of the shift knob, so maybe a replacement knob is in the future.

A happy customer, so far.

I've only driven my new TSX about 40 miles (took delivery yesterday), but it has been an absolute treat.

As for the 6MT, I can't think of another car where I'm going up a somewhat steep hill in 5th. Gotta love that!

Surprised by how blue the CG looks, but it is REALLY nice...a unique color that no other car seems to have...

So far, so good...

JPC: I hear ya there. I rarely need to downshift to speed up, even uphill, unless of course, the car ahead is laboring to even keep a forward motion.

That's one big difference between my old Accord and my TSX. The TSX has a lot more power at higher speeds and at higher gears.
