Are alignments covered by the bumper to bumper warranty?

I have a 2005 TSX. It has begun pulling to the left while driving. The car has 17,500 miles. Is this something that is covered by warranty? If it is not, would it have been covered by the warranty if the car had less than 12,000 miles?

The warranty covers mechanical/electrical parts in the car. If some part failed and caused your car to go out of alignment, they'll replace the part, but you'll have to get the car aligned. Alignment is a service, just like an oil change. The warranty doesn't cover services. You could drive a car that's misaligned...it's still driveable.

The alignment can be thrown out of spec by many things. Most notably would be potholes and speed bumps. You should get an alignment whenever you change your tires (and maybe rotate?). You should also align your car when it starts pulling or shaking.

alignments are not covered, but if its a chronic alignment problem it may be a problem w/ the control arms, which is something the dealership would take care of, namely replacing the arm and then doing an alignment.

If you have 17k miles, its time for you to get an alignment, and if it still pulls after that, then you might try the dealership

Alignments are usually covered by shops for 1 year 12,000 miles. With that said, since they do an alignment somewhere in the assembly process, technically yours should be covered until them too. When i first got into my TSX, it pulled to one side on the highway. I didnt' get a chance to drive the highway until a couple of weeks later. But long story short, i took it into the dealer, and they covered it for me.

I think that's still relatively new. You probably hadn't received the survey yet. Maybe the dealership was trying to get your points

Yup, I think I remeber reading that somewhere with the mileage stipulation. I just took my car in for the same issue, it was pulling left at higher speeds. My car had 8900 miles when I took it in. The dealer covered it no questions asked. The tech even went on a 40 min ride with me on the expressway to duplicate the trouble.
