After a year of thinking about it...
I finally took the plunge. Picked up a 2006 PWP AT/navi yesterday with two miles on the odometer. My ex-current car was a '98 Accord EX/V6 that was starting to show it's age. The TSX was at the top of my list last year before the 2006 models came out. My wife has the navi in her Odyssey. Since we really like the functionality, I began my search looking at hondas and acuras. With two kids (4 and 2) a sedan was required.
I went through several months of thinking about a 325i. The asking price w/options plus repair costs finally got that idea out of my head. I realized that the TSX would not be fast enough for me and decided on the TL for a few months. Drove the A3 w/DSG and was convinced that this would be my next car. The old repair cost raised it's ugly head again. I even went several weeks thinking "Civic". I could save so much money!
At the end of the day, the TSX won me over. I couldn't be happier with the choice. No doubt part of the happiness is due to the fact that I no longer have to decide what my next car will look like.
I've been reading this board for over a year now and I would like to thank all of you for your posts. No doubt they were the deciding factor that finally made me write the check.

Welcome!!
I am in a similar boat. Been lurking here for about 2 years, will probably take the plunge when the new model year goodies come out, mainly considering the TSX vs Accord V6 coupe, and yes, even the new Civic Si has me thinking..
I'm wondering what your impressions of the TSX are now, esp wrt the lack of power you thought you would feel..?

Why did I get it? After multiple test drives, I sat down and thought about my needs. At 38 with two kids, I realized that my driving style has changed. I no longer feel a need to be the first one to the next intersection. It no longer concerns me that one of my friends might have a faster ride. The fact that the TSX also gets decent gas milage also played a big part in my decision.
Now does the TSX feel slower then my Accord? Nope. It really has lots of pep and provides plenty of power 95% of the time. I wasn't willing to give up the better gas milage for that 5% of the time I want to satisify my "fast".
I really prefer the handling of the TSX over the TL as well. The handling truly makes up for the "push me back in my seat" feeling. All of the cool features of the TSX helps as well.
Hope that helps?
