After 7 hours of claybar and polishing!
It even got me sick the night after.... but all and all I think it is well worth it.
The car has a showroom shine......
Just to show off my work.. not the best but not bad... (I think)

Even brand new fromt he dealer lot, the car has contaminents and such in the paint. It's more of a touch thing than a visible thing. You should clay and wax a brand new car within the first few weeks, the dealer doesn't really do anything usually, it's just paint and clear coat.

I've noticed that the dealer doesn't wax the car too. Although my PWP looked shiny from the dealer, water didn't bead up on the surface. I use Mother's Carnauba wax and I'm loving the result.
As for using a clay bar, it sounds like a lot of work for me. I don't even know how to use a clay bar. Do you just knead and rub it on the surface to remove dirt and contaminant?

It looks great. Look at that shine. What wax are you using?

The bar itself is just a tacky, malleable material available in most parts stores or online.
After clay bar, polish and wax, the paint becomes incredibly smooth, and a very wet, deep shine comes through. And yes, new cars may even need it due to materials possibly picked up during transport, etc.
It certainly never hurts.

SSM looks awesome after clay/wax. Positively edible!
You're right, it's about an eight hour job for wash, clay, polish, wax, but it's worth it.
Looks great!

The crappy thing is that the only place I know that sells clay bars is Kragens and they only carry the Mothers bundle (along with wax) which costs like 17 bux. Not many places carry just the clay and lube, which costs around 10 bux. Web shopping is out due to the high shipping. So I did research and got this:
For Clay Magic:
Quality Car Care Products
Frank Meleo
2702 Fisk Lane
Redondo Beach, CA 90278
Bus/Cell: 310-710-8596
Fax: 310-371-0039
For Meguiars Clay:
Kmart (in and around Redondo Beach). Go figure.

For some reason I don't like to add the oem kit on the car.....
but you're right on the rotor... I'm looking into getting brembo slotted cross drilled and the axxiss ultimate pads..... but seeing Vr0om's nice looking G-Game rims... I'm tempted to get the rims first..... looks first... safety later?????
