Advice for an 06 TSX Premium

Hi, I'm new here and I have a few questions (if they already been answered, if anyone can re-direct me to them that would be great!)

I am about to buy an 06 automatic TSX (130,000 km) for 13k + tax that is in excellent Condition, One-Owner, Off-Lease directly from Acura Canada.

What are the major things I should do to ensure proper maintenance of my car?
How often should the transmission fluid be changed and for the automatic transmission, is there anything that needs to be noted?

Also, what are a good set of winter tires for the 06 TSX?

Thanks.

^^Good info in that link.

Also add in Honda's ATC fluid (Automatic Transmission conditioner). Helps out a lot for the gears when it shifts.

What ATC fluid are you referring to? I've never heard of an AT "conditioner" and it would seem that Google has never heard of it (since that site can't find it either).

My bad, I went to Honda a few months back and I thought it was by Honda but it's actually from Mobil 1. They use Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear lube, this one to be exact.

That is differential fluid, not transmission fluid.

"API viscosity ratings for gear oils are not directly comparable with those for motor oil, and they are thinner than the figures suggest. For example, many modern gearboxes use a 75W90 gear oil, which is actually of equivalent viscosity to a 10W40 motor oil". (Wikipedia)

Mobil describes it as such, but it is widely used a MT fluid. Many (including me) recommend using Honda transmission fluids, but I'm not surprised at the post above describing it's use in the TSX MT. Honda MT is actually labeled 75W-80 (GL4) in Australia (and probably elsewhere).
