This is very cool, I had to go the other route with my Scion tC and installed an Alpine head unit with the iPod adapter in the armrest. I'm hopeful more companies will offer this type of solution soon, especially with scrolling text!

Thanks for the link. I do like this one because it does three things:
- Charges the Ipod
- connects to the dock connecter
- has a mini jack output to the TSX's aux input.
I'm thinking of this as an interm and perhaps a long term solution.
I do want the Acura Music Link but I am a little concerned about the final cost after installation by the Acura dealer.
Thanks again for the link.

Ipod Integration Information
So I just bought the Music Link for my 2006 TSX, but I haven't installed it yet. I plan on doing that within the next few days myself since I don't think this feature is worth the $300-$400 that Acura wanted me to pay to install it.
Here is what I've gathered so far:
1. It just treats the IPOD as a CD Changer.
Disk 1 is "Search Playlists"
Disk 2 is "Search Artists"
Disk 3 is "Search Albums"
Disk 4 is "Search Genres"
Disk 5 is "Shuffle All Albums"
Disk 6 is "Shuffle All Songs"
2. The text to speech stuff is actually something that integrates with ITUNES. The disk that comes with it contains an installer for an ITunes plugin (I think) that will use the built in voices in Windows (and Mac) somehow.
3. I don't have a place to post the files, so if someone will host them, I will send the files their way.
4. I have no idea if it works with older TSX's, but the instructions are not TSX specific at all.
5. This will only work with G4 and later IPODS and will not work with the shuffle. (Will work with Nano's though.)
I have to go to dinner now, but I will give everyone more info later.

When I checked the online sites last night they were $40 USD plus $16 USD for shipping which works out to be a little more than $65 Cdn. I'm not sure what the taxes and customs charges would be coming across the border.
Getting to the bottom line: It works great. Sound is very good and my iPod gets charged. I will not be buying the Acura Music Link.
Thanks for the tips everyone.

I talked with Acura Client Services and asked about the Acura Music Link and her answer was that it would be out on January 3rd, it would cost $199, and that price DOES NOT include installation. I asked about controlling it with your voice and she really didn't know about that one. So as soon as randomsolutions get his installed or figures out what on the disc we will know. But if I can't control my iPod with my voice they can keep that crap.
