Acura TSX TRADE!

Hey everyone, I really want a sporty coupe, (that gets fair-good gas mileage), and if I find one, I'd be trading my 05 TSX for it. Any ideas on a sporty coupe for a 21 year old college senior?

'07 Retractable Hardtop MX-5. Bigger than the s2k, great gas mileage, $25k(+,-), one of the most reliable cars ever made..., I dare you to find a BAD review on it.

Awesome! I went looking at the 350z's today, I really like them! Super sporty and plenty of power! I haven't tried an S2000 because I am 6'4" and the S2000 is smaller.

Miata is wayyyy to small

350z are nice...especially the refreshed one with better interior and LED tail lights. But it's still a 2 seater and not very practical...but you are 21 so go for it. It also looks like a toad...haha...but i love it too. What about the G35 coupe? It's sooo sexy

lol...it's not so much a bad review but rather the perpective of a guy in a miata. Yeah this can get into a heated discussion, but the word on the street is still going for what a guy in a miata is percevied as...

Well, I think I have decided on the 350z as my next car, I don't want kids, and my girlfriend of nearly 5 years feels the same way. So I listed my TSX on autotrader.com and also in the auto trader magazine. 2005 TSX 18100K for $24399, Columbus Ohio, 330-770-6688

JFYI, there are lots of rumours about next gen Z, 350z GT-S concept http://www.my350z.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=432
these may be useful for you to decide when to buy the Z..

Congrats on your decision. You are 21 so live young and enjoy. Make sure you get the 2006 model. I envy those LED taillights.

I'm 22 and i will keep my TSX for last long as i can. I love my TSX, its sporty and luxury at the same time. I spent to much money on this car to even consider selling it. I know how you feel about getting a sport car, thats why i have a savings account for a really nice one. Lotus Elise, yeah baby..........that will be my weeken car.

I never find myself using the extra space or even wanting the extra space in my car. I take a couple of things to work/class with me, and that's it. So a two seater wouldn't be putting me out for use every day. Plus, they hold their resale value well, so I will just sell it if it becomes to much of a problem several years from now.

Saturn Sky was rated the best old womens car
Pontiac, will never buy again, first car was a pontiac and it broke down every 4000 miles, plus GM cars lose all of the value unlike imports.
Boxster-S, out of my price range unless I got a heavily used one
S2K, too small

But thanks for the suggestions!

Everyone says miatas are "chick cars" or "hairdresser's cars" but I've never seen a woman driving one (and they're all over the place here) and driving one of the best, nimblest sports coupes in the world is hardly :ghey: IMO.
