Acura TSX introduction video that I found online

Some San Fran dealer made a introductory video for '04 TSX. Did anyone else see this before?

Yep - I'm near certain it was linked to in here.
Either that or it was something else and that was in the list on the right, and I checked it out.
Very well put together, so it is.

And, if memory serves, he is in Hawaii and not San Francisco.

The video makes me want to go drive my sweet TSX!! Although I don't know about the TSX being more aerodynamic then the NSX?

Yea I've met him before. Hes a pretty nice guy. Cool car too-a yellow 6MT S2K. I believe his wife also drives a 6MT S2K. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your TSX? Pflueger is the only Acura dealer here in Hawaii so I'm curious. Thanks.

Also, if anyone cares, Colin also made similar videos for many of the other Acura cars. And I think also S2K cruisin around Hawaii vids. All of them seem pro like the TSX one.

I got my 06 6MT from private sale. I was hella lucky. Got it for 26k...only had 'bout 8k something miles on it I believe. The guy wanted to sell asap 'cause he was in the process of moving to Vegas.

Colin used to post all the time, but I haven't seen around in a while. Nice guy who was able to gives a dealers perspective on things. Too bad he doesn't come around any more.

I poke in here from time to time but don't post much. The forum is run by another dealership and they don't like salespeople posting with their store in their signature. I was accused of 'using them' for my gain when I'm all the way across the continent AND an ocean.

I've always felt that its the contributing members that make a forum successful and with that in mind, they are using my knowledge and information for their (the sponsoring store's) gain.

I've made a new video about S2000s and have it for download on my site. (www.satoauto.com) Its a longish video but I think it came out well. We're preparing a new video short that actually has a story and will require (gasp) some acting on the part of my friends.

P.S. In response to burning out on public roads, that footage was shot at an abandoned airbase, not exactly public roads.

Your TSX video was a major factor in my decision to buy a TSX. I drove by your dealership many times when I was there for vacation...I would have stopped by to check out your parts department (honda dealerships here tend to showcase mods...my acura dealer doesn't).

And yes, it's the members that make a forum successful. A good forum with no contributing members isn't a forum at all (like my secret forum on my website lol). Most of the members here don't really contribute much anymore...all I see is people replying to a post by saying, "do a search". If I'm not willing to search, I don't respond to the thread =P I stay away from off-topic areas (I've only gone in there maybe 3 or 4 times), so most of my post count was an attempt at contributing.

Anyway, glad to see you're still around...can't wait to see your burnouts on the next TSX generation =)

Colin,

Glad to see you are still around... the video is (was) great -- I first watched it when shopping, and it shows off the car well!

On paper yes.... and as for the NSX aerodynamic question, I do a lot of research for these videos and thats what I came up with. The NSX may sacrifice some aero 'slipperiness' to gain some downforce at 150+.
