Acura remote transmitter slapping against the steering column cover...

I love my car, but I need to do something different about how I have my keys setup or something. Every time I make a turn, or go over a dip, my remote slaps against the steering column cover, and it's really starting to annoy me! All I have is the remote, a keyring that I took off of another keychain, and like 4 keys... just the bare minimums. I'm really considering doing the Accord key transmitter mod just for this reason! Does anyone else have this problem? For those of you that don't, post a pic of your keys or something... seriously!

Have only had the car for three weeks, have no other keys on the remote and have also noticed this 'feature'. Maybe some black felt at the ignition six o'clock position would fix that?

try the leather cover for the acura remote. this might help minimize the noise.

you could do the Accord key swap that everyone seems to love... This would eliminate the key fob all together.

At some point in life you'll find your nuts do this as well. Hope you don't mod them too

Haha... you suffer from the 3rd leg syndrome too,eh?

If you check out that TSX Modded key thread, I'm definitely willing to solve this problem for you since I just finished modding my key.

Seriously, check out moda's key mod. That would solve your problem.

How does this make your pants make a wooshing sound? Maybe It's just one of those things I'll never experience?

Gotta wear baggy pants... you know, the xtra room, and then pendulum effect = whooshing sound.
