apparently, the accord key fob works with TL... so im sure it'll work with TSX.
Woah there...in the thread, the guy hasn't actually gotten the key fob to work with the car yet. He's gotten the old key apart and has not yet finish retrofitting the new key.

Really?? My key and remote combined take up about the same amount of space as the combo remote from all other manufacturers that use them...

That's really scary...

What if some burgular gets hold on one of these and starts stealing cars? He wouldn't even have to try... just walk up and *click* *vroom* *screeech* Your car is gone.

Well, I might just have to take it to the next level. Here are some known info...

1. The Accord remote can be programmed to work with the TL since the guy has tried it. It might work with the TSX. Still need to verify but can be easily done.

2. A blank Accord key with remote is only $31.88 online.

3. The blank can be cut by the dealer providing you have the valid VIN.

4. The Accord, TL and TSX all use the same immobilizer. Which means the transponder would be the same. Which means they can be programmed by the dealer with the HDS tool.

It's not that easy. The key, immobilizer and ECU have to match before the relay can be energized to drive the fuel pump.

Actually, the blank key won't work due to how the key is cut.

It appears as though the guy in the TL forum bought a honda accord key, took the chip out of the accord key and inserted the TSX chip. His next plan is to take the physical metal key from the TSX and attach it to the accord frame. Given all of that. If one were to do a similar process to this key would work, but I am not so sure about the buttons though.

I'm in Australia, and our Accord Euro (TSX, but with leather or velour trim options) comes with an integrated key fob, but not switchblade design. I suspect it is the same one that you guys get with the Honda Accord.
