Acura has terrible customer service!!
AC compressor broke over this weeked. Yes, it has been discussed before as being a problem with the TSX. If it happens, you sure better hope it is still under warranty as that is an expensive part. Acura is supposedly backlogged on that part(probably due to the extensive problem this has become) They said they would rent a car for me- go to the rental agency and they have a Kia waiting for me! They are telling me it could be a couple of weeks if not longer to get my car back.
Called their national 1800 # to complain and they tell me somebody will call me back in 3 business days. All I know is this is the last Acura i ever have.

I would be pissed too. I would want my car back in working order sooner than that definitly. I was without my car for 3 days to get my head unit replaced when the lights went out on it. Then they scratched a trim piece and said I would have to take the accord for another couple of days but I made them give me the test drive TL instead. I definitly wouldnt take a KIA.

they actually said I should feel fortunate they want to offer me anything as Acura's has no lender policy like Infinit(who automatically will give you a lender car). They proceeded to give me a Dodge Striatus which I told them was still not equivalent to an Acura Tsx, and the service manager told me I was insulting him since that is what he drives.
I guess there is a reason the TSX seemed so cheap when I got it but if Infiniti, Lexus can offer a whole lot better customer service, then a few thousand extra may be worth it.

That's odd, my dealer always gave me at least a TSX whenever they needed the car for one day or longer.
Just tell them to throw in a couple bottles of Pinnacle and call it even.

lol, it is a decent car, i just want that new lexus bad as hell
and customer service is horrendous
the gerbil pipers didn't even have the decency to fill the car up with gas when i picked it up, they just gave it to me on E... and that is when i picked it up 2 days after i bought it
