Acura announces special financing, on all but TSX

My salesman called me yesterday to tell me that Acura had just announced special financing on all 2005 and 2006 models, except for the TSX. The RSX, TL, NSX, MDX, and RL are all eligable and you can get between 3.9 and 4.9% depending on which vehicle you purchase.

Anyone have any idea what is up with the TSX not being included? I'm about to buy one and I could have used an interest rate reduction. Oh well, I'm still buying one anyway, it'll just cost me a few more bucks.

There's also a lease deal on all of their cars except for the TSX. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I guess =)

I'm surprised that the NSX is on the list, but I'm guessing margin. They would give great rates on cars they have the profit margin to fudge with. The TSX coming from Japan probably has less of a margin (which is why the NSX surprises me).

I normally wouldn't have a problem with it, but since I'm about to buy a TSX, it's more than slightly irritating.

I guess the TSXs must be a hot commodity right now or something.

They don't need any incentives to sell this bad as car! It's the same reason they don't break on the price either.

Gotta remember that the TSX is a low volume selling car if compared to the others.

Nov 2005 Sales: ***EDIT... table looked like crap

Look here: http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=454528

Yeah, but if you ask me the TSX is the sweet spot of the lineup. Much more feature packed than an RSX for not a whole lot more money. Similar to the TL in features and size for less cash. It's in a different class than the RL and MDX, and the NSX....enough said.

It's an awesome car, I just wish they would have offered the financing on it.

Wow, I got my TSX 2005 only a month ago. The financing rate was 2.9% for 60 months. This was one of the main reasons why I decided to purchase an 05 model. The overall price gap becomes too big between 05 and 06.

My dealer had "special Honda financing" in December that included TSX for 4.49% for 60 months. Might be a dealer specific exclusion in your case or a inclusion in mine.

You won't regret your decision either way!
