Accord Euro-R's LSD and brake.

Did anyone know if Euro-R's LSD will fit on TSX, and also are the brake system any difference from TSX's?

Side note, rattles in our car I believe can be duplicated if you pump a noise combining frequency range from 100(maybe even 80)-250hz. I have yet to put spectrum analyzer into the test yet, but need help in getting the signals into the stereo unit. If you know how, please let me know.

Any K-series engine will match up to any LSD made for any other K-series. For instance, you could get the LSD for the JDM ITR and match it up. Actually, the RSX-S and the TSX share a lot of tranny parts (too bad the casing is only on the TSX). I've done a little work in the ways of having both parts in an RSX. Even the final drive out of the ITR can be thrown in there. That can really help out your acceleration. To do the LSD you are going to want to upgrade you clutch and flywheel additionally to handle the extra grip.

However, you may encounter problems if you use the LSD and VSA in conjunction. WHen Porsche tried to do that, they had really strange handling characteristics, and had to reengineer the car to work.. just something to think about.

awesome point, i'm sure that's the reason the cls 6 with LSD does not have VSA.

what's the difference between LSD and VSA? I thought they were pretty much similar. Both helping in controlling the car's wheels when over/understeer occurs.

LSD's are mechanical induction of power transfer. VSA is just software that integrates the traction control with the 4-channel ABS system. VSA has algorythms (sp?) programmed to sense trouble before it occurs. VSA is a great safety feature, but will not enable both of the drive wheels to engage power like an LSD will.

right, exactly why they don't work well together. the LSD transfers power, while VSA clamps the brakes. I can't imagine the result being pretty.

You can disconnect the VSA system, or just remember to turn it off everytime you get in the car. But is an LSD worth it to you?

Anything that will stop the wheel from spinning when powering out of corners is worth the money...maybe...
