6'3"- Will I be comfortable??

This friday I will be going for my test drive in an 05 TSX 6-speed. I've been waiting a while now to check it out. Im still on the fence between the TL and the TL, but I hope this test drive changes my mind with much anticipated extra power coming from the 6-speed??? People keep saying it really is like a different car?? Can't wait till friday!!

I do have a concern about being too tall for the car. Im 6'3", and I was very tight in my test drive, but I didn't play around too much with the seat. How do you tall guys manage?? Did I mention that the 6-speed better be fast so I can make up my mind already

I'm 6'4" and most of that height is carried in my legs, and I have no problems.

This was actually a big concern for me last fall when I was looking at a TSX because I am paralyzed, so I use hand controls to operate the pedals. The hand control linkage is bolted up under the steering column like so:

So with my Inspector Gadget (TM) legs and the added bulk of the hand control linkage, I was more than a bit concerned about how well I would fit, and if I would break my kneecaps against the linkage. Like I said, I fit fine. I cross my legs indian style once I'm in to keep my feet away from the pedals, but I've tried putting my feet on them just for the hell of it and I can reach them without binding up or anything.

You would have less leg, probably, and definitely more room than I have since you don't use the funky hand controls. I don't think you will have a problem.

RMPAGE, very interesting contraption they have hooked up there, I've never seen a set-up like that before. I feel confident that I should have enough room being you're an inch taller and have linkage in the way and its fine. Thanks bro!!!

Just make sure to push straight down on the seat control to put it as low as it will go. This way you can see the max amount of available head room.

The headroom is actually pretty good in this car due to the tall profile. I'm 6'3" myself and have no problems at all.

Here's a link to a good thread about the height of forum members. It should tell you what you need to know. I'm going to lock this thread (my first one! ), so you can post there if you have more to say. Enjoy.
