5Zigen Areo parts in extremely low supply

The parts listed on our site are discontinued and about to run out of stock!

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/home.php?cat=3342

There is currently 1 grille, 4 lips, and 7 sets of side skirts in Japan. Order now, or forever hold your peace!

The pictures listed are terrible.

Can't even see what the grille looks like.

Plus an 04-08 grille?
I'm not sure about that.

The OEM ones are different.
The Mugen ones are different.

And they sell just a one size fits all?

I do not like the 06-08 Mugen grille, but don't see much
for alternatives out there.

Perhaps the grille is meant to be used with the matching lip/bumper.

There are not a lot of pics out there:
http://www.5zigenusa.com/english/pro...cs_system.html

These are the best I have access too.

The car pictured looks like a 06-08, but I thought the grilles were interchangable? Just because Mugen and Honda have different ones does not mean they are not interchangable. Headlights are...bumpers are....

Unless you know for a fact, then I will fix it.

Is there a post where someone has tried this?

No, but 04-05 grills don't work with the 06+.

the grilles are not interchangable.

and the bumper can't just be swapped out either.
not without a new grille, a new hood, a new radiator cover I think.
but I don't really know what I'm talking about, I just read.

the back bumpers on the 04-05 and the 06-08 are different too.
you can't put an 04-05 rear lip on an 06-08 rear bumper, it won't fit.

the 04-05 grille and the 06-08 grille are not the same.
and they are not interchangable. I do know that.

the hoods are not the same either. aside from the hood trim, I think
I've read the 06-08 hood is a miniscule amount longer.

this is the only grille ever I've seen listed as one size fits all.
and frankly I think it's not possible. it's one or the other.
and as to the pictures, it's for an 04-05.
The kit is for 04-05 only too, except for the side skirts.
that front lip will NOT fit an 06-08.

but whatever, not trying to rock the boat, just saying...

Well there now I've fixed the listings.

I do find it odd that the bumpers are not interchangeable. Obviously the 40-05 lip would not fit a 06-08 bumper tho, come on gimmie some credit.

Now, headlights are interchangeable, right? Besides the ballast not fitting right.

correct.

the lights are exactly the same minus the ballasts.
they fit perfect.

I figured you knew about the lips of course, but they were also
listed 04-08 so I figured I'd mention that too.

Almost no site gets the dates right anyway.
Most will list things for 04-07 too, somehow forgetting about 08.
I don't know how many times that has come up.

Seems like now is the time when parts for this car are starting to
be discontinued. I need to get what I need now I guess.

Bumpers ARE interchangable. There was a thread where an 04/05 and an 06+ swapped front bumpers. I believe former TSX'er Reach was involved but I'm unsure.

That being said, unless you want to put an 04/05 bumper on your 06+, I doubt the 5Zigen grille will work.

That's what I was recalling...thjose two guys swapped all that stuff. I thought it was all interchangable, but I guess not quite.

I don't agree.
You cannot just swap bumpers.
not without also swapping the grilles, and hoods and such.
prove it please.

If the new search engine wasn't garbage I could. All I remember is there was a thread on this forum, with pictures, showing a PWP 04/05 swapping bumpers with an 06 CGP. Everything seemed to fit. I'm not making this up, and hopefully someone else remembers the post I'm talking about. It was from 2006 or earlier...

Disagree. 2 AZ members had swapped their bumper (w/ grille of course) in between 04 and 06 respectively for fun and it did FIT properly.

AZ search engine can return nothing now so can't find that thread, but Reach and CGTSX06 (ithink) was involved.

which proves my point.

the grilles need to accompany the bumpers.
and the hoods too really.

who would put an 04-05 hood with it's trim on top of an 06 grille?
really?

so, issue is put to rest.
I think we hijacked the thread enough, lol.

They are just saying it can be done because you said it couldn't be done. No one is saying it's a good idea, they are just saying it's a possibility

+1

Comment are just towards the body work (forget the rims), grille looks decent or not much different than Mugen, but front lower lip has too many lines and busy.

nope.

I tried to order some like the day or day after they were discontinued,
but it was a no go.

Marcus said I missed the boat... forever.

which is too bad.

I have most of the rest of the bracing coming, but not those.
If you find a place, please let me know.

I was thinking about making my own version of them, having had seen them and installed them in person, but I'd seed some money up front and I think they might cost too much, like $350-450 or something.

How much were the Carbing ones though, once you factor in shipping?

I think some original Heeltoe parts for the TSX would be sick.

well there is another race company in japan that made them first. some really weird name. all there braces are red. I believe they are the ones who made the parts for carbing actually so I want to find if they still produce them. I believe shadowlegz told me when he ordered his rear bumper support from them that he waited forever cause they only made them on an order to order basis.

I am willing to bet that this is the other way around. it is a lot more likely that they buy from carbing since they are a manufacturer.

And everything is great with this team kunimitsu, but they are not selling the floor braces in question!

Dunno. Lol, when I ask they tell me to "Sell the DC5 braces." Kinda like, changing the subject.
