How are 3m clear bra? Any good recommendations on clear bra? Ho should much should it be to put on a clear bra onto the TSX?

 

Find one that has a lifetime warranty including yellowing, cracking, or bubbling. One of the tint shops around hear uses Llumar brand, and it has a lifetime warranty. I have no experience with it, I am just looking at getting some installed myself. They quoted me $240 for hood/fender/mirrors yesterday.

i had it done with 3m for ~250, same hood, fender, mirror... couldn't find llumar around nyc.. and had 3m on my other car for a while.. 2002 golf.. didn't have prob with that..

 

So you had the entire bra installed on your car for only $250 or did you do it yourself? I've been getting prices of like $700 to have it installed at my dealer!!

 

yeah,, + tax, but its hood, fender and mirror, no bumper, etc.. the part itself was like 140.. theres a online dealer here that has the same pricing...

 

I put a clear bra on my CG TSX (www.transparentbra.com) that covers bumper, mirrors, headlights, and front section of hood. Lifetime guarantee and much tougher material than 3M. 1 month after install, my son hits a parked car and the transparent bra was scraped bad, but completley protected bumper-absolutely no scatches.

The installer removed the damaged section and put in a new piece. Can see seams but still looks good-can barely tell it is even on car. Stuff really protects from more than rocks!!
