Hey guys,

My dealer told me that essentially all production for the end of the model year has been scheduled, and getting a 6MT is going to be pain if your dealer doesn't have one already.

So, you're saying that if anyone wants a 6 M/T they'll have to wait for an 08 MY or get one that's already been scheduled?

TOV has also reported that the run out of the 07 model year seems to be taking place already. This seems to be in order to allow the 08 model year to have a few months run with an introduction of the full redesign in the fall of 2007 with a release in 2008 as a 2009 model.

If you are worried that there will be substantial changes in 2008, I wouldn't be too concerned. With the 09 model on the way, there isn't a lot of reason for Acura to drop much money into R&D on a model that is going to be defunct in the near future.

The only issue (for me) is that my RSX-S lease ends in July, so I'm trying to take delivery on a NBP/Ebony 5AT Nav while I can get what I want.
