2006 Navi question/problem

2006 Navi question/problem

when i use the joy stick to scroll up and down...it will sometimes select an item while i am still scrolling

anyone else experienced this before?

you're probably actually pressing on it and not realizing it...cause thats what happened to me...i noticed it always did that when i tried to do it too quickly...

I have this problem with my '06 TSX Navi too. I like the knob that is in my mom's 2003 MDX with Navi - it's a lot taller and narrower than ours, which makes moving vs. selecting a lot easier. I'm going to see if they are swapable tomorrow. I'll let you know.

yeah, i have problems trying to scroll great distances...maybe i should try pulling on it slightly next time

The narrower and taller joystick/knob from the MDX will not fit our TSX. Damn.

Yep, I hate that knob. Sometimes it's best to use the knob to input multiple letters and numbers, but everytime you go to scroll or move it the damn thing selects something for you. It's definitely too sensitive.

Just an hour ago, I was using my navi to look at nearby restaurants, and it suddenly started selecting a few things very fast. Suddenly, my HFL was calling one of the restaurants...lol

And there's no way I'm pressing down on it...it's probably designed poorly, and it detects a push when you move the joystick too far?
