Nope, wierd huh? No reverse tilt down feature (at least on the manual). Kinda funny cause I'd have thought they'd just use some "off the shelf" parts for this feature.

I agree, and I'm surprised since it probably cost more (from a production standpoint) to "de-content" the memory seat module than to just leave it alone.

It does keep with the Good, Better, Best theme when looking at the TSX, TL and RL.

Aww so the guy who paid $38k for his TSX could have gotten memory mirrors if he spent his money elsewhere. I bet he's kicking himself right now.

That is weird...

Regarding the reverse-tilt, have you tried switching the mirror selector to either L or R and then reversing?

Just curious, because that is how it works in the 3G TL.

well it makes her feel better about her purchase to keep posting here.

all us tsx owners might as well go post in a toyota corolla forum and bash everyone there.

besides seeing as the 38000 dollar tsx guy, got well in my opinion raped, he'd have paid like 55000 dollars for a 330i.

I think the best thing is to encourage her to post more of her own opinions. That's what makes internet forums interesting to read. Image how boring it would be if everyone agreed with everyone else.

Regarding the memory seats, perhaps next year the TSX will get some improvement in this option. Right now, it is still better than the 04-05 which didn't get this option at all. There's always room for improvement, folks.

Mine was around $40k and I got quite a bit of options. It has memory seats and mirrors.

She leased it, is trying to sell a TSX, and is now banned from the forum.

Well we are out of autos, and it didn't work on the manual but I'm pretty sure I know how the system works. FWIW, the older G2 Legends had only seats, no mirrors.

Hmm....that's weird. I went to test drive the TSX and I asked the saleman whether the memory seats do the mirrors too and he replied yes. I repeatly asked him if he's sure and he said "If Acura puts memory seats in a car, it's gonna be for the mirrors too." But then, he also told me CompTech came out with a supercharger for the TSX...

And I didn't actually get a chance to test whether he was telling the truth about the mirrors. I was too busy playing with the Bluetooth...

My salesman told me the same thing while we were sitting in the car... it was really easy, but painful, to prove him wrong. No, the memory portion does not cover the mirrors, and I'm pretty sure it does not tilt down when you put it in reverse.

Just because it doesn't come with a certain option from the factory doesn't mean you have to live with out it! Thats what modding cars is all about.

I can't wait to get the 06 manual so I can research the feesability of adding memory seats.

I think it's very likely the motors in the seats already have a "feedback" output. The question is whether it's wired up to at least a point you can get to that unused output without a lot of work. I was thinking about designing and building something myself to add memory seats back when I was going to get an '05. Out of pure curiousity I'd like to know what you find, but I have to say I'm really glad I decided to wait on the '06.
