Just bought 2005 TSX three weeks ago... I was so excited and First thing, Clock ,Audio and HVAC Display was gone... did my research on the web and found out its the PCB and I am not the only one.... So....Called Acura and they told me I was not under warrenty anymore. I Replaced PCB... Paid Acura dealership for installation. and Yesterday my Display was gone again and it came back... It dims down and gets brighter itself.... I am very disapointed.... Acura dealership wants me to bring back the car and they will charge me to see the problem..... Please Help.... Thnks

 

Mine is an 04, and at just over 100k, mine went out as well. Its an extremely easy fix yourself, just order the part. Anyway, I went to the dealer to order the part once I had the proper part number, and they asked for my vin. Once they entered it in, they said, "Eh, don't worry about it, we'll take care of it for you" so I dunno. Maybe your car has a ton more miles than mine, who knows. But mine was WAAAAYYYY out of warranty and they took care of it. If I remember right, the piece is under $100 to fix it. Just search and you'll find out what it is (I'm not looking it up)

Thnx for your input...... I have called Acura but they are asking me to pay for checking the problem... I am planing to do it myself. I have searched the web and there is information available to change PCB. I will see what I can do..... Maybe I get some other help

 

Radio units from 04-08 will swap in to the car and work, and are available from $99. I put an 06 or 07 HU into my car just to get the aux in...
