I have a 2004 TSX with only 45K miles that I plan in keeping for many more years. It's well maintained and my excellent mechanic calls it a "brand new car". Last summer I got stuck a few hours away from home (Murphy's Law) and needed a Throttle Position Sensor which I found out was a pretty common repair and a poor OEM part. I have also replaced the front brake rotors and the driver's door lock actuator both of which I also understand are common repairs due to poor quality Honda parts.
My question is what are other common repairs on 2004 TSX's. Since this car is generally so trouble-free. I would be willing to pro-actively replace any other parts that I can reasonably expect to go bad so as to avoid any break-downs while on the road.
