2004 TSX trailer Wiring

I am looking for suggestions on wiring for the 2004 TSX trailer hitch I got from JCW.
I ordered their wiring package, which they said would fit, but it doesn't. Should I try Uhaul, I'm worried about the quality, but am at a loss? Anyone successful with this?

I just installed my trailer harness last weekend. The one yor bought should be a T-Connector such that you disconnect the connectors for the taillight and insert the harness connectors in between. I've never heard of anything other than this type.

On a side note, when you do finally install your harness, I have a few pointers for routing it. Remove the rear bumper and on the drivers side, you'll see a rectangular air vent. Route the wire through this vent and then to the hitch. There are a few holes in the frame that are covered with plastic grommet, but none are big enugh for the plug to fit through.

Mine easily towed my 700 lb jet ski. I tried it both in sport shift mode and automatic.....doesn't struggle at all. I wouldn't tow anything above 1000 lbs, even though the car is rated for 2000/200.

I recently installed the T-One connector wiring package in my 07 TSX. Model number is 118302. etrailer.com doesn't list it available for the 04 though. Honda must have changed something later in the model run. This may also be why the package you bought that's supposed to fit doesn't. Looks like you'll have to either wire it direct using a Modulite kit (wires direct off the battery) or a generic converter w/ harness (either way you'll have to tap each individual circuit). I also just installed a DrawTite hitch (on the 07 TSX), so if you haven't done it yet and would like a few tips, feel free to email me at g81954@hotmail.com.
