Hey I'm new to this forum. I got my TSX this summer (August 2006). I was wondering if the 04-05 headlight light assemblies were the same as in the '06. I cracked my driver's side. I want to buy a used but in good condition assembly but all I find are 04-05 ones. Thanks.

 

no, i believe they are slightly different and need some adjustments to fit. although im not sure how much the difference is

The 04/05 do fit the 06 model and vice versa. The problem is you better stick with the year of headlight you got other wise you have to purchase a new ballast and ignitor since they are different for those years. Yes you will, if you want am going to be having my 04 ballasts on for sell pretty soon. I will be receiving my 06 ballasts pretty soon. Too bad I didn't know you were doing that otherwise I would've just traded with you.

 

I will post pix of when I get the parts in to show how they are different form each other and I might do a whole DIY for everyone as well for the installation of the 06 JDM's on my 04.

Im pretty sure the projectors are different on the 06's too. my 05 had completely clear glass projectors while my 06 projectors have those rings in the glass if you look careful. 05 ones where better.

if you still wondering, the 04-05 tsx headlights have black behind the orange reflectors, and 06-07 have chrome behind it. but other than that it swaps over just fine. i did it on mine.
