I am getting close to the 20k service....a lot of what they do is inspections...do you recommend I go ahead and do their 20K service or leave out the inspections and just get the important stuff done? If I pass on the inspections will it affect my warrenty?

Be sure to follow what the manual says and not what the dealer tries recommend. The dealers usually try to get you to do a lot of stuff you don't really need done. Unless they can prove the lack service directly lead to the issue, I don't think they can deny a valid warranty claim.
