1 year service

My 06 just went over 9000miles, and before i make a ~700mile trip back home in NJ, i'm going for a 1 year service in michigan.

other than oil change and tire pressure check,
What service do you recommand?
i have the packet that has service packages from Acura Dealers (one of those green service, blue.. etc) but i left them back in NJ....

Also, being in a college campus, some bxxxx bumped into my car while it was parallel parked. has ~6mm paint chipped off on the back bumper.

i searched, and found touchup123.com and also found my paint code.

but can i just take it to dealer and let them do the touch up paint? would that be more expensive than me buying the kit and DIY?

thanks,

Paying for a service is always going to be more than a DIY. I suggest that if it is too chipped that you'd get it repainted just so it will look new again, otherwise it will look like a cheap cover up even if touched up by a pro.

just get the oil change and maybe a tire rotation. those service packages will end up costing you alot. do not need them. where in bergen county ru. I grew up in Demarest.

Oil change and tire rotation and viola, you're done. This should cost you no more than $60 at a dealership, or less than $60 at an independent auto shop.

whats the incentive for taking to a dealer? i like the service guys and the free coffee and soda...but can i really save a lot on tire rotation and oil change? that much more than $60?

does everyone know how to reset the computer, etc?
