All,

I test drove the car one last time before deciding on the car. It was about 28 degrees outside in PA and I must say I really wasn't thrilled with the cold shock that the leather seats give off for the first 3-4 minutes before the seat warmers kick in. I told the salesguy I didn’t like the leather and brought the car right back to the dealer lot. I can only imagine how hot and sweaty the seats will be in the summer. Sorry to say, but unless Honda decides to offer cloth seats in their base Acuras, I probably won't buy another Acura. I really like this car and really wanted to like the leather but it’s just not my preference.

?? My seats weren't "hot and sweaty" this summer, and we had 100+ degree weather.

Cant' do too much about the cold seats till the warmer comes on, but you are supposed to start it on high and then throttle back to low for continuous useage. Although leather and vinyl have a similar texture (notice all the confusion here) they behave VERY differently when it's hot. This especially so when the leather is perforated. Leather may not breath exactly like cloth, but it does absorb moisture more and it doesn't get slippery like plastic does. However to 'each his own' and ultimately you are the one who has to live with the decision. I for one hope that Acura NEVER goes back to cloth interiors.
