07 TSX w/nav or 07 TL no nav...
So my dilemma is just this, do I go with a TSX with navi or a TL with no navi, I feel like the TSX handles better but I am coming from an 06 G35 (leased LONG story) so may miss the HP. (Or I guess I could go 06 slightly used TL with navi, but ave NEVER bought a used car before and am a bit wary of it.)
Also, do you guys with 07s recommend the factory ipod interface if I do get the navi? Everything I read points to no, but not a lot of people with 07s seemed to chime in unless I missed the thread?

LMFAO that is the best acura commercial I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend's with Infiniti's tell me their nav systems are less accurate than Nuvi's and all the portable one's do you guys think this is true with Acura?
How often do you need to update the Navi?
Can you get Xm Nav traffic with the TSX or just with the TL?

Nav is the one thing i really do regret not getting on my 06' TSX. I belive you should really go by which car is the right size. You can't go wrong with the TL or TSX, i made my decision because i thought the TL was a little on the big side, and i new the TL was getting a refresh soon.

Yeah....I wish I had navi, too....
If you really want the TL, look into a CPO since it has the extra warranty for piece of mind. Either way, I'd try to swing something with navi since you'll probably end up regretting turning it down. If the TL isn't within your price range, then I'd go with a TSX navi for sure.

I love my TSX but my the seats in my brother's TL are so comfy and I do love the power. The TSX gets awesome gas mileage... I would go with the TL depending on the size you need. I am 6'6" and the TSX is not bad but no one can ever sit behind me and my next purchase will be a TL because I am ready for a little more room in the front seats

Acuracy on the GPS: why do you think they've called it the Acura ? no complain here.
DVD updates, not likely for the life of the vehicle, depends how important you need to have your updates. Personally, I won't spend hundreds for a DVD update
For 2007, XM radio is not available on the canadian 07 TSX (only on canadian TL) but is available on the american TSX.

TSX w/navi.... IMO
it depends if you want power or if you want more of a drivers car... i found the TL to be a bit too boat like in terms of handling...
also the navi has great accuracy, blows away my friend's brand new ML, g35c, FX45 navi's from friends cars that i've seen... when we go on road trips people don't trust their navi's anymore they ask me what mine says... goo Acura

Keep in mind you are on a TSX forum and we will always recommend a TSX over a TL 9 times out of 10.
The TL is one hell of a car that looks outstanding, abundance of power, upgraded interior, Acura’s reliability and the TL always turns my head when I’m speeding pass one on the streets. The TSX is a 4 door coupe that is the perfect size for no more than a family of 3 or 4 if they are youngsters in the back. The TSX body style is used world wide and aftermarket parts and extra tuning is more available to any style/mods you want.
If power and acceleration is on the top of your list then the TSX is not for you and go for the TL. If you have other items on your list (fuel economy, handling, resell value, looks, 4 door coupe, high revving engine, best Navi at this price range, cheaper overall cost of ownership, etc…), then go for the TSX.
