TSX isn't as common as the Camry, has a high reving engine, and handles well in the twisties.

Although you should look at the current TL if you had a TL-S prior. If your folks could help you, get the new TL-S or the 2007 G35 sedan!

i know the old ES/highlander which shared the same auto tranny had issues with the car shifting too late and "lunging" forward during sudden acceleration

Well I have an 02 Highlander V6 bought new. Has 90k miles right now. Runs like it has just driven off the dealers lot. Dont know where you got that info from.

This thread is a complete repost, can't you just continue in the existing thread that already discusses this topic?

What do you want out of a car? Are you married have kids? Need the more space? Obviously the Camry is better.

I would pick the TSX because the Camry will always been known as the family car and not be as fun to drive as the TSX.

I say check out the IS250/350. Those cars are really nice.
