The basic engine is still the same. Probably a combination of intake tract, exhaust tract, and ECU tunings.

Not sure exactly what in the 05 RSX-S changed to give it 10 extra HP but those changes would be a good place to start for the 06 TSX.

Most likely what CG just said above.

haha I know what you mean. On my accord its on up near the handle and when I get out I do it all in 1 motion. Just like the other accords my family had. Its burnt into my muscle memory and was sad to see the tsx with it near the window buttons. Hope its changed....

haha me and you =same boat. hehe. Waiting is easy if you just dont think about it. I suggest dont get the brochure.

However, I think there is 3 interior colours for the 06 and you can mix and match them to any color....but only getting the brochure will confirm this. so....

I hope pearl white in canada can get parchment!!!

Hmmm, strange that they wouldn't have upgraded that as well.

Well the TSX doesn't have LED tailamps (like the new Accord) either, but I prefer the changes they did make over those two things.

No brochures here yet, so thanks for the advanced look.

The 06 TSX looks fantastic and I'm really liking my Alabaster Silver.

What is neat is, all these little things are like the first signs of Spring. The brochures are like the first robin that you see.

Ahhhhh Yesssssss, the 06 Tsx's are coming, the 06 Tsx's are coming.

Excited

Unfortunately Acura is a little slow on key development as they only have key and separate fobs or any vehicle with memory seats, except RL which has it's own "key" issues.

I agree though, they need integrated keys in the worst ways!!!

It is just me, or does the picture below give the impression of a lower stance (compared to the old models)? Maybe it's just the angle...or the car pictured has the A-Spec suspension.

I agree! The fogs have really grown on me and the new lower and wider grill is an improvement too. Good job Acura!

It makes the car looked wider IMO -- probably due to the wider grill and the way the lower portition of the bumper flares out (instead of curving in) on the sides.

Wow! I really like the fogs now. Before I thought they were average to not good looking.

Now I relized I was wrong and HONDA was right.

Nice...I like the front grille of the 06 better than my 04.

I wonder if the 06 front grille can be applied to the 04. What do you guys think? Too much trouble?

Hi all, been gone from the forums a while. I recently moved to Tempe, AZ and have been getting my 04 MSM 5AT serviced at Acura of Tempe. Great service thus far - they even provide a viewing room where you can watch them work on your car.

Anyhow, I visited the dealership tonight to see if they had 06 brochures in - the sales representative I talked to didn't know that tomorrow was the official release date, and estimated late November to early December as the release date. He also mentioned that Acura headquarters had announced to dealership principals that a 2-door and a convertible TSX were coming down off the line in about 2 years. Considering he didn't know too much about the 06's, I'm not sure what to make of this comment. But you usually wouldn't tell someone that if you were trying to sell them the cars that were on your lot right? =P

Anyhow, I really wanted to see the new Glacier Blue Metallic color and see how it compares to the MSM. From the scanned brochure page, GBM looks more of a gray, but the photo of the GBM car gives the impression of a deeper blue than the MSM. If someone gets a chance to see the two side by side, please post photos! I'm envious that they get the ebony interior.

Is it just me, or are there chrome/polished wheels on the TSX in the A-Spec picture (NBP TSX with rear wing spoiler)? They look like 18's too...

I wonder if it's a new wheel (it looks like it has a small lip), or if they mounted the TL chrome-look accessory wheels for the pic...

The text on the A-Spec pcitures says the are 17s....

Can someone please scan the specifications page of the brochure? I am getting comflicting info about the 2006 when I compare what Acura.com says versus what acuranews.com has listed. I think the latter is the incorrect one, but I would expect that the print in the brochure has been scrutinized the most (since an error there would be the most costly to fix).

I picked up the brochure tonight. I don't have a scanner, but what items are you looking for? The only thing the spec sheet says about the A-spec is that it includes Sport suspension system, 17-al alloy wheels, under body spoiler kit, wing spoiler, exterior badging. Items can be purchased separately

BTW... mileage is 22/30 man, 22/31 auto
