well, I dont think so because the TL will be putting out about 40 more hp with a bigger body and at a higher price range. If I was to get the 04 TL I would probably purchase the At/Navi combo because the 275 or so ponies would do just fine. With that being said, the TSX is in my opinion the better looking vehicle of the two, inside and out. The TL just has more options and power in a bigger body. If you purchase a tsx for 28,800 with navi (31k after tax and license..depending on your negotiating ability) and add about 4-5 k in aftermarket engine/suspension mods... CAI/Intake/Exhause... Hondata if it comes out or if you dont care about your engine and get comptech's supercharger (much more pricey)that should come out.. Then you purchase 17" light wheels along with springs and shocks... This will be a sleeper for sure...

I like the TSX and loved my test drives. The handling was good, the auto tranny shifted better then any Acura in recent memory and the sport shift was better. Quality was good and materials looked rich.

That being said I love the techno look of the TL's interior. It should have more buttons as it is the middle model. If you feel the TL is bad, wait till the new RL comes out. I'm betting it will have even more. Look at any car line. Audi A4's some buttons, A6 even more, and the A8L looks like it has a control panel from NASA. On the other end, the Sunfire has little in the way of business, then go from there all the way to the Bonni SSE with all of its program this, program that, button here, button there... I think I got the point across.

No remorse here either... the new TL is a good looking car (much better than the 2003), but too big for me.
I thought I read somewhere that the 04 TL was a couple inches shorter than the 03.

If the TSX had a V6, it'd be the car I wouldn't get. The more lopsided weight distribution would destroy one of the TSX's best attributes, handling...all for probably two ticks of the clock. Not worth it.

We've read a lot of different things. Most of the stuff is ambiguous, some of it basically self-contradictory. For example, some sources said "several inches shorter," but when you pinned them down they meant about two inches.

The range of speculation is anywhere from about 185 to 191", with some sources even saying it would be BIGGER than the current TL which would put it at 193 or more. Pretty clearly it seems we can now eliminate that last part -- but I can't tell with any confidence from the new pics where it would be between 185 and 191.

If I compare photos to photos, I like the TSX better hands down, proportions are better, it is more crisp than the TL (front corners are just too round, no sharp edge, among others).

I'll have to wait and see the TL in person before final judgement though.

Had one ('03) -- TL-S actually -- had gotten it because it was the best thing for me that was available at the time, couldn't wait to trade it in for TSX when that came out. Best deal I ever made (even though I had to pay out extra).

I know most people here really like the 04 TL, but I have to say I really don't like it very much at all. In my opinion, the TSX has a much better interior and exterior.

It's my only car at the moment. It's an '02 black on black, tinted windows, a "wood" and leather steering wheel and a wood shift knob. I bought the first TL when the model line came out in '95. It was black with a camel interior. I liked my first TL, love my current TL and will add the '04 along side it.

It does have the tape deck though and seems easier to work radio controls w/o having to switch the screen. On the other hand it doesn't look as clean
