I have a 04 TSX w/ Navi and noticed the navigation is slow to recaculate routes and sometime the signal is off on the map. I sat on a 06 TSX and the navi is way quicker with no % to recaculate route or any of the other stuff when you go the wrong way.

Is it the software that needs updating or is in the hardware (06 TSX using faster/better navigation system) ??

 

we both have 3rd generation of Honda's navi system. 2006 model has 4th generation which, I assume, is better. Mine also takes a moment to recalculate

 

The hardware for the navigation system is faster in the 2006 than in 2004 (it was one of the selling points for the 06).
