04+ tsx 6spd

Well guys im not new to acurazine i currently own a 03 tls but am looking to upgrade a bit.....im lookin at either a first gen tsx 6spd or a four si sedan.....im leaning more towards the tsx cuz i love the luxury sides of it...but the k series motor makes it so easy to mod performance wise....idk if this in the wrong section or not if it is move it and let me know where to find lol....basically i jus want some opinions on how u guys like the car and if theres any major component failure with these cars cuz with my tls as u might the trannys suck.... But yeah thats pretty much it.....o yeah and has anyone here put a rsx type s head on their car cuz i have a couple friends that kseries civics and non use the k24 head.....so thanks guys and plz no flaming

I drove both and would've have qualms owning either one.
Si for more sport, TSX for more comfort (and grown up look, if that matters to you).

I've covered this before. I owned an 08 Si sedan(suspension and lighter rims) for about a year and I currently own a 6-spd 04 tsx(suspension mods only).

The Si is quicker, lighter, and more acceptable to mods. It's also louder, has more road noise, wind noise at high speeds, cheap interior, seats that will look old real quick, and is classified as a kids car.
The TSX is a little slower and heavier making it feel more solid and sturdy, quieter in every way(road noise and wind noise),interior is way more luxurious and not as cheap(I have a navi. model). The TSX has better mid-range power due to more torque but is still not as quick as the Si. Depending on your age(I'm 30) the TSX is considered a more grown up vehicle. A luxury porformance sedan.

I still do not regret selling my 08 Si to purchase my 04 TSX.

thats exactly the look im going for, i mean im only 22 i have my 02 tls now its my third car. i figure im going to keep the tsx which is the one im really leaning towards, i dont understand why u say its less acceptable to mods unless the sensors or something, bc the k24 block is the more popular longblock used in performance drag civics, so i figured a flashpro some cams headers intake and exhaust with a nice tune and i have quick little luxury sedan

Agreed. But the K20Z will show more power gains with the same mods.
