Arrow '04, '05, '06 TSX's

So it looks like I am back in the market for a TSX!!! So I'm wondering what the differences are between the '04, '05, '06 TSXs for the interior and the engine, etc.

Thanks,
Kevin

Other than wheels, the '06 has (over the '05) the most power (205hp, with the new SAE measurement guidelines), fog lights, mp3 player plug in the console, new front bumper/grille...

I would either go with a '05 or '06. I went with the '05 because the oem lip kit for the '06 was not my taste. I prefer the '05 over the '04 due to the fact that the '04 is the first year that the TSX came out and would have some bugs that were fixed in the '05.

Maybe we should start a sticky thread...this question seems to be asked often. I guess that's what happens when a new year (07) is about to hit the dealerships

There's a thread that shows that the 05/06 front bumpers are interchangeable. Anyway engine-wise, the 06 has slightly more power due to some small changes.

04/05 are pretty close together, with 06 having the bigger changes. The 06 has foglights standard, aux line for mp3 players, bluetooth, MID.

I would get the 06, then replace the front with the kenstyle or with the 05 Bumper.

I looked at an '05 as I refuse to buy new cars but ah hell. . for th eused price to new and the way they made it out, the '06 came with all these upgrades and technelogical know-hows stock than the '05 and having to not have options or pay to add themn on etc. Seemed the '06 had the biggest jump in technology in the car, but then again the '06 has been rated (from what I have seen online) lower in quality than actually it's first year '04 re-bodystyling.

Not sure if any of this holds water, just what I've been told and read. But Magz and Dealers can make anything sound good if they want to sell it. I'm just mad I still bought a new car, but oh well. Might as well do it once in a lifetime.

To add to this already good list:

'05 heated mirrors
'06 memory seats, aluminum appearing stereo knobs, carbon fiber like center console material. I think the only difference in tail lights listed above is the smoked out reverse light (looks great on CGP by the way).

Some liked the grille better on the 04/05 with the top chrome strip on hood, but I prefer it on the '06 where it's part of the front of the car. I think it makes the car look less narrow (don't ask why). I like it the way it is on the TL though.

I disagree that the '06 wheels are worse, but I admit they took a little while to warm up to. The only real negative to the '06 is the squeaky seat syndrome. But I haven't taken it to the dealer yet to resolve, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I believe 05 also got passanger power-seats and someone said the dash / cd button is silver instead of black (I have Navi so its silver).

06 received micro cm thicker steering wheel and like 4 more buttons controls.

Good call! You'd think I would know since I sell acuras .

I personally love the 06 wheels, but i find most people dont. I also had a squeek in the drivers seat but my service dept took care of it in a few minutes....easy fix.

thanks for all of the help!!! What do you mean by gauges in this post? also, if I do get an 04 or 05, is there anyway that I can get the acura bluetooth thing installed? I'm not thinking so...
