Sometimes, but I get over it. Like I've said before, I'll hopefully be picking up a nice F4i next Spring to remedy this feeling

My tranny did own me. If i could, i would trade my car in and get a used 04 6mt. I wouldnt mind keeping my at, but my plan originally was that im keeping this car as long as i can.

IMO you should cut your losses now. Part out your car, sell it and but a MT EVO, STi, RSX or something like that.

Can't it be fixed?

Life is too short to live with a car you can't stand.

Thats why I'll be trading mine in soon

Can i get rid of my car, even though im on a 4 year lease??? Ive only had the car for 1 year and have too many mods on it to just return it. I can put some of the stock parts back on, but ill have to leave some of the aftermarket parts on there. Any ideas on what i can do.

Dzuy, ill trade you my car for yours anyday. Just let me know buddy.

Sure you can break the lease but you'll get rammed right up the you know where. And since your already 7K in debt I'm now suggesting you start getting use to the idea of 3 more years in the AT TSX.

You can still part it out to make some $$ back though.

Pretty tough for you. I got the 6MT, But be glad you don't have to sit through stop-n-go LA traffic in a MT car. that really kills me sometimes.

Just keep your car... The TSX is more practical than other cars, its not to race.
Even with the 6MT you wouldn't be that fast.
For instance a stock Accord V6 (newer gen) would still be able to take you.
No matter what you do there will always be a car thats faster than you.

The only redeeming quality of the 6MT is the idea of more control.
Now go enjoy your TSX by taking her on a canyon run.

lol ok good you redeemed yourself at the end of that post.

I was reading and I was like, I don't drive the 6MT for the speed!! I drive it for the fun!

but then you said that... or basically that... so this post is useless

VTEC is the same for me in my 5AT, I love it around 6000 - 7000 rpm.

edit: now everytime I hit VTEC i'm going to have the mario bros star song in my head, just kidding.

it's your own fault that you bought the auto and now you're crying that you want a manual.

if you do a lot of highway driving during rush hour i don't see how a manual would be better.

i realize its my own fault i bought the auto, and i am crying because i want a manual. My car is going to be at the dealer for 2-3 weeks because they cant get this compressor from acura anytime soon. Im going in tomorrow to see what they can do to end the lease early and put me in a used 04 6mt. I drive my auto with SS 100% of the time so ive always kinda regreted not getting the mt. I drive around town for fun, somewhat of a hobby for me.

trading cars is not a good idea.

i had a civic thru college.

you should feel blessed you have such a nice car at such an early age, regardless of tranny.

time + patience are good qualites to have my son.

I wished i had MT too...... but oh well... AT is good for everyday drive, since i am such a lazy ass anyways....and from a business point of view.... AT gets better resale value

I thought about trading in for a MT... but that would be a damn stupid thing to do, like Duzy said`
