Wheel Experiment

Okay guys, I am going to try to do a wheel mod. I have a set of 03' Infiniti sport rims I am going to put on my TL3.2. The bolt and lugs match up and the offset is 45+ so within specs. I think the difference will clean up the edge around the wheel well without rubbing. I am going to run 215/50/17's on it. I have ordered replacement center caps to conceal the original manufacturer. I also ordered 2mm hub centric spacers for the diameter difference. Here's pics of what they look like off the car, when I get them on this week, I'll post new ones- wish me luck!

I'm running 225 60r 16. They fit nice no loss of turnning as well as a heavy smooth ride. Car cinda looks dropped due to how well the tires fit in the wheel wells. I Beleave when you put those on you may rubb going over bumps. My ride is real close as it sits... Let me know if yours work out.

You should have no problems with rubbing with 17x7 and 215s. I ran 16x7.5 225 +55, 16x8 225 +35, and 18x7.5 225 +45~ with no issues.

~Cheers~

Yes, there were pics of a taxi-cab yellow TL that had a pair of 240SX wheels and a pair of Maxima wheels on it posted to the forum a few years ago, IIRC.
