Trouble finding the right tires for my 3.2!

I'm trying to buy a set of all season tires for my 3.2 TL.

I believe the one's recommended by Acura are 205-65-15's. One shop is saying that I should buy a Michellin or Nokian tire with specifically stiffer sidewalls (v-rating?) if I'm not wrong. Apparently anything that is not strong enough on the sidewalls will wear out fast. ($170-190 per tire)

Another shop is recommending Falken's they are not the stiffer sidewalls but they say they will work fine with my car. ($110 per tire)

Which one do you agree with here? I'm looking for the best all season's, preferably handles rain well (I live in Vancouver) and will last a long time. Should I stick to the stock tire size for my rims or is there anything else that has proven to work well with the TL's?

Toyo 800 Ultras. They're rated to last 160,000 KM's in your case. They're ok in the rain (I live in Portland, lots of rain here)

You could get Goodyear Comfortreads, those are the best IMO for your needs.

No need to spend a lot on stiff sidewall tires. I recommend a set of Michelin X radials from Sams club, best price $90 a tire. These are 80k tires and are rated top by consumer reports. They are great and you cannot go wrong with them.

i've never heard that stiffer sidewalls will yield you longer lasting tires. The only thing that determines the life of a tire is how you drive, and the tire's rubber compound mix.

I'm also in the market for new tires and Tire Rack lists these Michelins as the OE tires @ $125 each! Sh*t!

I need to upgrade my tires, I have crappy Lemans tires in the front and decent Coopers in the back. But I can't decide of a pair good for comfort but also good for traction in snow/rain (I drive pretty fast in those conditions).

Do the Goodyear Comfortreads have good grip?
