There are GCs specific for the 3.2. It's just that they're really hard to come by.

It will sag if the spring rate is too low for the weight of our cars.

~Cheers~

P.S. Also, the CL link is for a different one. 2G TL stuff doesn't fit our cars.

You can't use the same suspension on the 2.5.

Bumping this thread because I am in dilemma. My shocks are gone, car rides like a boad. Go90go know what I mean. So I am about to get new shocks but I wanna lower my car while I am at it. I came across these few springs/ground control's....

GC's

http://www.autocarparts.com/part/408/3/

Springs..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_2676wt_939

Go90go told me to get springs with koni yellow's, but I can't seem to find Koni's anywhere.

Can I use stock shocks with GC's?? If not what are my options??

you can use stock shocks with GC's but it will blow in a short amount of time then you're back to where you are now. thats how my setup was until i upgraded by taking undyroos advice to go with accord koni yellows paired with accord GC's.

with this kit, keep in mind that you wont be able to adjust the height of the car nor the dampening of the strut.

So B&G are OK shocks not the best.

This is the cheapest price I found for a set of 4 of Koni's....

http://www.importhorizon.net/store/p...dcategory=1134

If someone else is also looking for a set, try coupon code "koni09". Code already expired but whats wrong in trying....

^ No, it won't be that low at first. It'll settle in a month or so and maybe it'll be that height. You'll just have better stability in the corners, and a much better quieter tome over those potholes in Pittsburg.

Yeah I wasn't comparing ride height, I just wanted to know if those two ingredients will make car low or I need some thing else.?? How about an alignment kit?? Do I need one?? I was checking colt45's thread about his lowering mods, he installed one too for the rear camber I guess. I am so scared of wearing my tires out quickly. Its my biggest pet peeve. I get alignment checked every 5-7 weeks. (gotta love lifetime alignment deal at firestone)

Thread Revival:

After I get my car back from the body shop I am buying a few things for my 97 3.2TL:

_ CL-S rims (picking them up this week)
_ Coilovers
_ SPC Camber kit.

I need to know what is the dissenting opinion on the BEST all around suspension setup.

I am looking for adjustability, daily-driveability, performance, and longevity. I would say price is a secondary factor; however, I don't want to spend $1,400 on the Tein Kit if it rides no better than the koni-yellows and GC sleeves which are roughly half the price.

You are right on track. I'd say if you are on budget (under $1000 that is) pick up koni's for 94-97 Accord and get Ground Control kit just like Undyroos. He's got the perfect drop and ride, suitable for daily driving.

I am still waiting to get my springs/GC...

Thanks. I guess I'll be looking into some Koni's and GC sleeves when I get the car back from the shop
