Suspension - 2.25" Goldline Lowering Kit
Ok... ... but have been posting for the past couple weeks... anyways i'll introduce myself in a couple of weeks once i finish the before and after step by step installation thing i'm working on for the 1st Gen 98 2.5 TL...
Well, i just have a couple questions before installing the 2.25" Goldline Lowering Springs. I'll take pics of what i do... Anyways, Do i have to do or buy an alignment kit to go with the springs?? if so, where can i get it and how much would it be??? Also, what else do i have to do to the suspension so that the car doesn't do anything funny when i'm driving it??? Strut bars, anti-roll/sway bars, etc...??? and can i use the stock struts/shocks with these springs... if not what kind should i get???

What do you mean by what else can you do so it doesnt drive funny?
yes you can use stock struts but with a drop like that they will blow easily. I'd recommended you get a new set because if you are going to pay for the install this way it'll only be paid once. If you change your springs with stock struts and they blow you need to buy new struts and pay for install again. You can't go wrong with a koni yellow struts but the downside is they cost about 500 a set. So you could look for kyb agx or tokico illuminas.

alright... thanks for the info... i'll look into those struts...
About the "what else i can do so it doesn't drive funny?" well i meant like if anyone has found anything else besides the alignment kit or camber kit... like say... does a 1998 Honda Accord's strut bar fit our cars... or the sway bars??? well, again thanks for the info... i'll check them out... $500 bucks... damn... i didn't want to spend that money on the JDM tails... i can live for about 1 month with the stockers... hopefully my TL can... Oh and about the install... like i said... i'm going to do a step by step picture instructions on it... maybe a short but growing website is what i'll start... possibly in the next couple weeks... before and after pics you know... my TL is still stock... but not for long... lol...

That's exactly why i'm getting the goldline springs... just needed to know what else i needed so that my suspension doesn't give out on me on the freeway doing about 80<<<~~~ normal speed when you are late to work... anyways... thanks for the responses... and the help with this topic... i think i'm going to have to get the damn alignment kit... reduce un-even tire wear... but its gonna take a bit of dough... $150 for the front and i need two so its about $300... then $164.77 for the back and i need two for that too... thats another $329.54... thats a total of $629.54 for the whole thing... then thats adding the Goldline springs i just got... $167.05... Total comes too... $796.59 for the whole drop... DAMN IT!!! lol... i guess thats the price you have to pay to make your car look cool... thats a whole 3-4 days work... well... i did get the springs about $40 bucks cheaper... so its more like $756.59... so if anyone wants to drop their car... they need to drop $796.59 max... oh... free shipping...
Oh and mike... sorry if i'm kind of bite-ing off :thief: your stuff/brands... but like if anyone actually has a choice on what to get... being our cars are unique and stuff...

When you do install it good luck because those springs are compressed soo much. Just make sure u got friends to help you. I'm not even sure if this post helps you so good luck with whatever route you take.
