Anyone have a solid answer?

Are most aftermarket 5th gen Accord suspension parts compatible with our 1st gen TL's? It's been brought up but I never see a reliable answer, it's always kinda iffy.

Mostly for 2.5TL.
Go through this thread for more info on the suspension options out there. Some say 2G Legend can be used but I am not sure. Ken or Art need to chime in for that.. And if you can, Search....

Yes.

The 5th gen Accord suspension with work with the 2.5. Then the 5th gen Accord v6 suspension will work with the 3.2 I believe.

When you put Accord shocks in, I believe you have to keep the OEM top hats on.

Since you have a 2.5, you will be fine and you don't have to worry about finding springs because they make more springs for the 2.5 than they do the 3.2.

Also, a stock 2.5 can use stock TSX springs for a 2" drop automatically, IIRC.

~Cheers~

hmm this is good to know. I have a 2.5 also I need to get work on soon but want to do way more to suspension.

The accord shocks same length as the TL suspension? It seems when Undyroos put his Koni yellows on, it was slammed like the shock bodies were shorter to start with.

If the tsx springs will fit, I may have to find a set of those for cheap.

Its an EXCELLENT price!

I would soooooooo get on that deal if I didn't have to take care of other maintenance (timing belt/water pump, tune-up and I need a catalytic converter, pipe and muffler).
