i wouldn't do it!

the struts are ALOT shorter and especially being a 3.2 the car is going to be ALOT heavier!!

if i could do it all over again.... i would have just bought oem struts and lowering springs.

i took a chance with the B+G coilovers that were made for the 94-97 Accords and i'm not happy with them.

Save yourself the time and headache

i'd just save up and buy oem struts

what went wrong, did i fit ok? see i know the 3.2 is heavier but will it still surport it? i have drop my car about 2 inches or more, so im thinking if the fitment is ok and the drop is ok all i have to worry about is the weight.
i would get the oem struts but it wront surport the drop i made.
r u drive with them on? if so hows the ride? did u have troble with the fit.. thanx

i mean the fitting the struts on the TL is fine! i guess it's the same for a 3.2? & believe it or not the ride isn't that bad... but it rubs when i turn to the right though. it's just knowing that it's not made for the car. & if it's not made for the car you'll definitely run into some problems.

here's a pic of what the B+G coilovers aren't suppose to look like:

look at the spring... there's no spaces in between the coils!

hmmm don't know wny it's not showing... well he's a link:

there was a post about legend coupe shocks fitting on a tl, but that guy never gave any real info. He just gave a link and said they listed them together. It had no part number though. If that info is true then you can get koni reds from a legend which are great replacements. The legend itself is around the same weight and it's height is the same of not higher. But the height of the car itself doesn't matter, it is all about the height from the Lower Control Arm and the chassis of the car.

I find it tough to believe Accord parts work on a 3.2 TL not to mention a 2.5

More than likely the RL/Legend parts would be closest but even then.. no guarantee.

It's not really hard to believe. Honda's design for struts are pretty universal up until the recent generation of cars. With struts the thing to worry about is the load they can hold and the spring seating. I was kind of wondering how they fit but he explained he is using dropzone coilovers so that explains a lot about it. Since the coilover comes with a thread sleeve and you put spacers in to hold it in place. The spring seats onto the adjustable perch so it doesn't even touch the shock seating. So the real question is how long will they hold up

So how low is the car? I'm curious to see what a slammed tl looks like. I would have loved to have a slammed tl. But now my daily driver is dropped 2.5" and I think it could be a bit lower

does your car rub when you make turns and can you take a picture of the springs underneath with the weight of the car?
