wrecked.....

ive had my 96 3.2 TL for not quite a year yet and love everyminute of it. even its slow windows and crazy alarm system dont bother me. mods include 3 inch full exaust with performance cat and performance muffler (not a pissed off bumblebee in a can one either) intake, injectors, and an ignition modifaction. two months ago i hydroplaned it in the pouring rain into a curb. damage was minimal and limited to the right rear wheel which is pushed in 6 inches and folded under. the upper and lower control arms, swar bar and strut are destroyed along with the rim. so now every morning as i leave to got to work and climb into the wifes jetta, i see my beautiful car sitting in the driveway with a broken ankle. ive got the new rims for it which happen to be from a 05 tsx, the 7 spoke gunmetal gray ones, and GC coilovers for it, just need the koni's and a shop to do the work. finnally found a shop that would let me bring my own parts. problem........... they quoted me 2400 dollars to fix it! how hard is it to do this work myself? i know i can get the parts from a 94 to 98 accord for the suspension but is it that hard to do?

Too bad you're in VA otherwise I'd help you install everything. Good luck with it, but remember that it might not only be the control arms being bent, the mounting locations might be damaged as well and it might be hard to get the car to align properly afterwards.

~Cheers~
