Steering Wheel

Okay so my steering wheel is worn completely down to the rubber, to the point where it is no longer enjoyable to drive my car. I don't want to get a cheap steering wheel cover and would rather replace it with a nicer one, maybe newer oem, or aftermarket. What are my options? What have other people done? Pictures would be exciting as well.

I'm sure that there are other options; people do all kinds of things to their cars but remember, that wheel has an air bag. About the only thing that will replace it; functionally and legally, would be another one just like it. Perhaps you could try a shop that does leather repair.

You can purchase a steering wheel wrap kit from ebay. Buy a cheap cover from autozone. Or buy a new wood nardi steering wheel and hub.

You can do that if you're not concerned about legality or liability issues with your insurance company in case of a accident. Not but that's really your call.

If I went with a Nardi wheel and hub I could add 5 point harnesses to escape legal issues right? If you get rid of an air bag you need a harness?

You can do whatever you want to to. It just won't be legal if you remove that airbag even with a 5 point harness. I only mentioned legality because I have a family member that was involved in an accident about 8 years ago and the insurance company denied his claim even though the accident wasn't his fault because he had modified/removed a factory installed safety device. In his case it was also the steering wheel/airbag.

A ton of car modifications out there are technically illegal. Just don't get caught.
