After I did the brake switch test expecting to go on to the next thing the car starts rolling backwards? I think the tranny is in neutral?
This occurred after rocling the car back and forth as someone had suggested previously. So we will see if this is a breakthrough or another issue to deal with.

We have other Honda Vehicles that do not behave erratcally like the Acura.
If it were a "Stellar" Vehicle I wound mention it but this 1 has demon written all over it.....I will let you know if I survive

have you checked the neutral safety? some times called the gear selector switch. the switch is expensive , but you can take it apart clean the crap outa it and ruff the contacts up with sand paper or a knife blade, lub with electrical contact grease. also the shifter has a push down to shift feature, if its damaged. you wont be able to move the selector .
