i changed the spark plugs, changed the o2 sensor before the cat and the MAF from what i understand is that the cat is on the exhaust manifold correct? would i be able to use a universal cat and put it after the manifold retro fit it in weld it in? i also am i able to use a cat from a 3.2tl would that be better? please help!

 

A new aftermarket would almost certainly work better than a used one, even from a 3.2. Besides, my new aftermarket was one third the size of the factory one, and worked better, haha.
