problem with the heater

Smile problem with the heater

most of the times when im driving my acura and turn the heat on is not hot until i push the gas like more than 2500 and then gets hot. what is wrong?
any ideas

It could be a problem w/ the vacuum-actuated heater valve. It may not be opening w/ available vacuum. It may be a leaking connection, sticky valve, or other vacuum supply problem.

Download the manual in the sticky on this forum. Look up "Heater Valve" in the menu. All will be revealed.
